We are looking for caring, compassionate and hardworking nurses who want to make a difference. To excel in this role you will require excellent communication skills, the courage to make clinical decisions and a willingness to develop your potential. The team is dedicated and caring, striving to make a difference to local people in the community. We are privileged to provide nursing care in patients' homes and to offer information and education to patients and carers, enabling them to enjoy maximum independence, health and wellâbeing.
We welcome applications from newly qualified nurses. A current NMC registration is required; postâregistration experience is helpful but not essential. An excellent preceptorship programme is available for newly qualified nurses.
Key responsibilitiesYour role will involve providing nursing care in patients' homes, completing records and patient paperwork in real time using a laptop and smart phone, and working a shift system that includes early, late, weekend and bank holiday shifts across 7 days. You will work as part of a mobile team equipped to deliver care safely and efficiently.
Working patternThis is a permanent, fullâtime position â 37.5 hours per week. Responsibilities cover the 8am to 8pm window and you are expected to work either partâtime or fullâtime depending on service needs. The trust offers an excellent flexible working policy and works in partnership with staff to meet service needs.
Qualifications and experience- Current NMC registration
- Postâregistration experience is helpful but not essential
- Preceptorship programme available for newly qualified nurses
