This is a Gloucestershire County Council job located at Shire Hall. The salary is £52,413 - £54,495 per annum with a permanent contract.

We are looking for an individual who loves the world of change and transformation, has experience of working with senior leaders, and can bring strategic thinking and creativity to the role. As Business Change Manager, you will report to our Head of Transformation. You will be responsible for ensuring all strategic change initiatives deliver expected outcomes and benefits whilst increasing adoption and usage. You will focus on the people aspects of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles, and organisational structures.

You will work to drive more effective adoption and higher utilisation of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. You will also continually evolve and improve the business change toolkit, training, and other supporting infrastructure to improve how the council lands change.

As an experienced Business Change Manager, you should be curious about change, organised in your work, and able to use your own initiative to achieve objectives. Your energy creates action and as part of the GCC Transformation team you are comfortable sharing your views and encouraging others. You will be inquisitive by nature to get the answers you need, and be able to adapt, embrace the new, and approach all situations proactively and with a deadline in mind.
