We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Team Manager to join our Early Help Hub on a 1 year fixed term contract.

About the team

You will be joining our Early Help Hub, which is part of Front Door to Children's services, working with MASH partners to enable effective decision making for children and families. You will join the Management Group which includes a Team Manager and 2 other Deputy Team Managers alongside Early Help Practitioners.

About the role

Working as a Deputy Team Manager within the Early Help triage team you would be expected to assist the Manager in decision making in relation to Early Help and ensuring the right levels of intervention decision is made so that families can access support from the right place at the right time. Demonstrate clear decision making and problem solving to ensure effective risk management and planning good outcomes for children and their families. Provide appropriate support, supervision, and performance management through line management, striving for excellence by working with the Manager and colleagues to deliver best practice. About You

  • Experience of working with children, young people, families, and communities to deliver a wide range of interventions.
  • Experience of working with multi‑agency assessments and plans is also a must.
  • Academic qualifications to degree level or equivalent professional qualification relevant to the field of Children, Young People and Families.
  • Relevant experience working in/across Children's Social Care and Early Help delivering direct interventions to children and families.
