About The Team & Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Commissioning Officer (Data Lead) to support the effective delivery and monitoring of the Crisis and Resilience Fund and other commissioned services. You will play a key role in using data and insight to inform decision-making, track performance and ensure value for money across commissioned activity.

You will support the team with day-to-day commissioning and data-related tasks, including:

  • Collecting, analysing and presenting data to support commissioning decisions.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate performance, contract and financial records.
  • Supporting budget monitoring, forecasting and spend tracking.
  • Producing reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaising with providers and partners to gather performance and outcomes data.
  • Supporting compliance, quality assurance and audit requirements.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Has a keen eye for detail and is confident working with data and financial information.
  • Has experience of managing or monitoring budgets and using data to track performance.
  • Is confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, MS Teams and SharePoint.
  • Can work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team to deliver high-quality services.

Experience in a commissioning, data, finance or public sector environment is desirable but not essential.
