This is a Gloucestershire County Council job located at Shire Hall, Block 5, 6th Floor. The salary ranges from £32,115 to £39,513 for a 37-hour work week on a permanent contract.

About The Team And The Role

As a natural leader, you will be joining and leading our exceptionally talented Highways Stakeholder & Engagement Team, which is a multi-channel, first point of contact service for a variety of internal and external customers. We provide a high quality of service delivery across a diverse range of services on behalf of Gloucestershire County Council Highways, across a centralised service area and four separate regional management areas. The service is provided through various channels both traditional and contemporary, including Stakeholder, Engagement, Social Media and Communications.

How You’ll Help Make a Difference…

In your role as Manager/Team Leader, you will lead our exceptionally talented team and support the Manager for Key Partner – Relationship Management, Programme-Coordination, Stakeholder Management and Highways Customer and Emergency Services. You will manage the team within the Highways Commissioning group, ensuring we deliver an efficient, accurate and consistent level of Highways Stakeholder Management & Engagement Services to all contacts, both internally and externally, including key stakeholders. You will assist in the development and maintenance of several Service Level Agreements across the Highways Commissioning Client Services portfolio.

We will rely on your excellent leadership and organisational skills to ensure our service levels are maintained. We also need your customer-focused nature to help build working relationships across our organisation with key stakeholders, senior leadership, and key partners while working under tight deadlines and targets. To be successful, you will need excellent social media, communication, and people skills, along with the ability to ensure we deliver an efficient, accurate and consistent level of service.
