Gloucestershire Employment and Skills Hub provides a central point of information, guidance, and support for both residents and businesses. Our mission is to help local people access training and employment opportunities, while supporting employers to find the right people with the right skills. We are a passionate team of professionals dedicated to helping individuals achieve their learning and career goals.
We are seeking an Employment Specialist to support the development and delivery of the Forwards Employment programme across Gloucestershire. In this role, you will provide advice, guidance and 1:1 support for people with barriers to entering, re-entering or remaining in employment.
About You
Your strong communication skills, innovative approach and ability to balance competing demands will enable you to build effective partnerships across a wide range of stakeholders including other GCC teams. These relationships will help expand the skills, knowledge, and employment opportunities available to the people we support.
You will be customer focused with experience of working with people with health conditions, disabilities or other barriers to work (or lived experience), business planning and delivery. If you meet the criteria and are enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to form strong, productive relationships, we would love to hear from you.
