This is a Gloucestershire County Council job located at Waterwells, Quedgeley.

We are currently recruiting for MASH Social Workers to join our Front Door team.

In our recent inspection in June 2025, our Children’s Services have been officially judged as ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ elements. This marks an important step in our journey to improve outcomes for our children and young people.

About you

As a social worker within our MASH team, you will work to ensure we keep the children and young people at the heart of our assessments and decision making. You will work in partnership with other agencies to ensure families receive coordinated and appropriate support.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Experience within a MASH team
  • A recognised qualification in Social Work
  • Passed your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) (if you qualified after 2012)
  • DBS clearance (Enhanced Adults and Children’s)
