About the role
The Asset Management and Property Services team (AMPS) manages the Gloucestershire County Council Corporate, Schools and Rural estate. We are an established Property Services and Estates Management team who take pride in delivering high quality service across the County, including educational establishments, to ensure we have a fully utilised compliant estate. We have the knowledge and expertise to advise on legislative, statutory requirements, national guidelines and best practice requirements for property matters.
Working as part of our Asset Management and Property Services team, to deliver complex and high value disposals in support of the challenging capital receipt targets and working closely with our asset valuation, corporate and rural estates management teams to identify further opportunities.
About you
We are currently looking for a self-motivated, professional and experienced Senior Valuer, to deliver complex land and property assembly, acquisitions and disposals ; undertake property reviews, annual valuations, development and feasibility studies.
Your experience of land and property assembly, acquisitions and disposals will enable you quickly settle in to the new role and make a difference to the team. Your skills and knowledge will enable you to work independently and competently to deliver individually complex and larger strategic disposals.
Your extensive experience of the planning system, combined with your experience in property marketing and disposals will allow you contribute effectively to the team’s challenging Disposal’s targets.
As an experienced member of the RICS, your knowledge of valuations and disposals, together with a proven track record of successful delivery of complex project management, will enable you to make an immediate impact in this role.
