About the Role

As a Senior Passenger Transport Officer, you will lead, support and continuously develop a team responsible for:

  • Bus stops and shelters
  • Real-time passenger information systems
  • Age and disability bus pass schemes

Alongside managing daily operations, you will take an active role in driving projects that introduce innovative improvements to passenger transport services across the county. You will also play a key role in the ongoing operation and development of the Arle Court Transport Hub, a flagship 33m facility. This high-quality hub connects local bus networks with national coach services, and you will be instrumental in building on its current success and shaping its future growth.

Working Arrangements

Your primary base will be Shire Hall, Gloucester, with regular on-site working at Arle Court Transport Hub alongside your team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in public transport provision
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • The ability to manage operational delivery while contributing to strategic improvements
  • Experience of working within or alongside local government would be highly beneficial.
