We are seeking a skilled, and highly motivated Planning Obligations and Monitoring Officer who will help make a difference by supporting the building of future communities across Gloucestershire. You will be part of a small but multi-disciplined team which provides a friendly supportive work environment that encourages personal growth and supports career progression.
About You
This role provides a great opportunity for a dynamic individual with a ‘can do’ attitude to be part of a small but growing service area. We’re looking for someone who is highly motivated, enthusiastic with good presentation and report writing skills. To be successful you have knowledge and experience of the planning obligations system (S38, S278, S106 and/or the Community Infrastructure Levy) and will need excellent organisational skills to allow you to prioritise workloads. You will gain invaluable experience supporting Gloucestershire’s Local Planning Authorities by becoming a specialist in understanding the future infrastructure requirements necessary to support future residential and employment growth by ensuring that the impact of new development on County Council managed services is fully considered by the relevant Local Planning Authority. You would also be responsible for securing planning obligation income for all services in line with the guidance outlined within Gloucestershire County Council’s adopted Local Development Guide.
