Come and work in an integral role within the County's Library service, managing four community-focused libraries in Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water. You will ensure the day-to-day running of the libraries, and lead and develop a skilled team of Library Assistants to deliver a high-quality service to all customers and partners. A focus on delivering an excellent user experience is essential, along with supervisory and organisational skills. You will work closely with partners and within the local communities to deliver and support a varied range of activities and events. As Library Manager, you will oversee daily operations, staff deployment and service delivery across all four libraries, managing multiple priorities and working effectively under pressure. The position involves travel within Gloucestershire, some lone working and flexibility in working hours, including evenings and alternate Saturdays. This is a 30-hour per week role, fixed for 12 months, with some scope for adjusting hours and occasional working from home where appropriate.
Responsibilities
