Based at the Heritage Hub, you will play an important role in improving access to Gloucestershire’s records, supporting the long-term care of collections and helping people discover the stories they contain.

In this role, you will:

  • Appraise and catalogue archives in all formats using Epexio collections management software.
  • Prepare collections for long-term storage and process new additions to our collections.

To thrive in this role, you will have a strong understanding of the appraisal and cataloguing of archives in both digital and analogue formats, together with an awareness of the challenges and opportunities involved in preserving and providing access to archival collections. You will be organised, methodical and confident working with a wide variety of archival material.
