This is a Gloucestershire County Council job located at The Beeches. We have a part-time (32.5 hours) Day Services Support Worker vacancy at The Beeches based in Stroud. The Beeches is a Community Resource Centre for adults with learning disabilities within the Stroud District boundaries. People generally attend one to five days a week taking part in a range of social and creative activities.
Our Services are continuously evolving, and as such, this role and related responsibilities may be subject to minor change.
About you: As well as an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification, you’ll have hands-on experience working with people with learning disabilities. Committed to enhancing the lives of people with a range of abilities, you’ll be confident helping individuals with personal care. The key is to provide support in a sensitive, flexible way; listening as well as communicating. With every opportunity to learn, you’ll be keen to develop and take our service from strength to strength.
