As a Community Safety Officer, you will work alongside the Community Safety Team and Prevention Station Manager. You will support by assisting with the day to day running of the Safe and Well programme, provide resilience to the Safeguarding team, integrate new members into the team with fairness and dignity and be responsible for coordinating the development, implementation, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of community safety initiatives You will have responsibility for monitoring the Safe and Well database system, including maintaining and inputting requests and other referral pathway information . Our Fire and Rescue Service is looking for an individual, who can deliver training to partner agencies who undertake risk reduction work on behalf of and in partnership with GFRS and is passionate about increasing the safety and resilience of people in Gloucestershire . This position is for a fixed term of 12 months . The position is a job share of 3 days (22 hours per week). About You To be successful you will need experience of working in an environment where excellent customer service and communication skills with a range of stakeholders are essential. The ideal candidate will be able to identify and embrace new methods of work and technology and will have the ability to be self-motivated, determined, enthusiastic and resilient with excellent attention to detail.
