Gloucestershire Professional Services (GPS) is recruiting for a SEND Review Lead Practitioner to join the Learning Support team at Gloucestershire College.
Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of young people with SEND?
In this rewarding role, youll work closely with mainstream curriculum areas to champion the progress and independence of learners with EHCPs. Youll lead on annual reviews and Independence Assessments, liaise with Local Authorities, and ensure that every learner receives the right support at the right timealigned with the graduated approach and Preparing for Adulthood outcomes.
As a SEND Review Lead Practitioner, You Will

  • Facilitate and lead EHCP annual reviews and Independence Assessments
  • Monitor and record learner progress using internal systems such as ProMonitor
  • Collaborate with curriculum teams and external partners to ensure effective support strategies
  • Promote learner independence and ensure placements remain appropriate and impactful
