Overview
SEND Intervention Mentors support students with EHCPs, SEND, and English as an Additional Language (EAL) who are referred for extra help. They deliver short, targeted programmes, usually over six weeks, to support study skills, assignment writing, language development, and wellbeing. An initial assessment is carried out to understand each learner's needs, strengths, and preferences. Cognassist is used to help identify neurodiverse profiles and shape personalised support. Progress is reviewed regularly to help learners build independence and achieve positive outcomes.
