You will be supporting young people to re‑engage with learning and build real confidence in a positive, welcoming environment. You’ll use creativity and flexibility to spark motivation, tailoring activities that help every learner feel included and ready to progress. With strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others thrive, you’ll inspire students on our First Steps programmes to achieve their goals. You’ll deliver engaging, progression‑focused sessions, including English or Maths, to broaden skills and open up exciting next steps into further study, apprenticeships or employment.

About You

  • Experience working in your specialist industry.
  • Experience in FE or a similar learning environment.
  • Degree‑level qualification (or equivalent) in a related subject.
  • Teaching qualification such as PGCE, DTTLS or Cert Ed, or willingness to work towards one.
  • GCSE grade C/Level 2 in English and Maths, or willingness to complete.
  • Willing to complete Equality, Diversity and Safeguarding training.
