Overview
Gloucestershire Professional Services (GPS) is looking to recruit a Careers Advisor to join our supportive and experienced Student Support team at Gloucestershire College. This role focuses on delivering high-quality careers advice and guidance, while also helping to coordinate careers education across the college. You’ll support students through personal guidance interviews, manage referrals, assist with UCAS applications, and contribute to outreach projects that promote progression and raise aspirations. You’ll also help create resources and work closely with academic and support teams to prepare students for their next steps.
About our Student Support
Our Student Support Department is dedicated to helping students succeed in all aspects of college life. The team includes Student Mentors, Employability, Careers, Outreach, Enrichment, and Student Services, working together to provide a joined-up, student-focused experience. From mentoring and workshops to events and enrichment activities, we aim to create a welcoming, inclusive environment. Based across our Gloucester, Cheltenham, and Forest of Dean campuses, we offer flexible and hybrid working to support both staff and students effectively.
