This role leads business development and employer training growth across apprenticeships, commercial courses and bespoke programmes. It builds strong employer partnerships, oversees onboarding and operations, and ensures full compliance with funding rules and audit requirements. The post also manages subcontracting, supports EPA readiness, drives new programme development and monitors performance to deliver a high-quality, employer-focused service.
Senior experience leading employer-focused training, including apprenticeships and commercial programmes. Strong understanding of apprenticeship funding rules, compliance and audit requirements. Proven ability to build employer relationships and deliver excellent strategic customer service. Confident leader with experience managing business development or operational teams. Skilled in overseeing onboarding and enrollment processes to ensure consistency and compliance. Strong analytical skills, with experience tracking KPIs, performance and risk. Excellent communicator, able to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
