Gloucestershire Army Cadet Force (ACF)
The Gloucestershire Army Cadet Force (ACF) is a youth organisation that provides young people aged 12 to 18 with the opportunity to develop valuable life skills and leadership qualities. Founded on the principles of teamwork, discipline, and respect, the ACF aims to instil a sense of responsibility and community in its cadets.
Through a variety of activities, including outdoor adventures, military training, and community service, cadets are encouraged to challenge themselves and grow as individuals. Our core activities include:
- Leadership training and personal development
- Adventure training, including camping and hiking
- Drill and ceremonial duties
- First aid training
- Community engagement and volunteering
The ACF also places a strong emphasis on inclusivity, welcoming young people from all backgrounds and abilities. Our dedicated adult volunteers play a crucial role in mentoring and guiding cadets, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
We believe in fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie among our members, which is why we organise regular social events and competitions. Our vision is to empower young people to become confident, responsible citizens who are equipped to face the challenges of the future.
Join us at the Gloucestershire Army Cadet Force and embark on an exciting journey of personal growth and adventure!
