The City of Gloucester is now accepting applications for a full time Young Adult Librarian at the Sawyer Free Library. This position works under the general supervision of the Assistant Library Director and direct supervision of the Head of Youth Services.
Responsible for professional-level public library services for young adults ages 11 to 19 in the areas of:
- Program development and delivery
- Customer service
- Partnerships & outreach
- Collection development and use
Supervises public services in the Teen Space and the Teen Reading Room.
This is a full time, in person, 35 hour per week position with excellent benefits. Pay Range: $32.78 - $47.47 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications: Candidates are expected to have a Masters in Library and Information Science from an American Library Association accredited library school and relevant library experience.
