The City of Gloucester is seeking a full time Collection Specialist. In addition to performing clerical work, this position applies basic accounting principles in maintaining receivable accounts, cash collection and depositing, all transaction postings and other records.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and verifying accuracy of collections
- Accounting for receipts
- Tracking delinquent accounts and bringing them current by contacting customers
- Reconciliation of records
- Processing refunds
- Processing M.L.C's and all tracking departments receivables
Pay Range: $23.04 - $33.37 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Location: City of Gloucester, Massachusetts.
Contract type: Full-time
Working hours: 35 hours per week
