We're now seeking a Property Maintenance Operative Apprentice to support the delivery of high-quality maintenance, repairs, and installations across the social housing property portfolio. You'll develop practical skills across multiple trades, assist experienced tradespeople, and contribute to maintaining safe, comfortable, and well-maintained homes for customers. The role involves working in occupied and unoccupied properties, adhering to Health & Safety at Work Act (1974) and GCH's policies and procedures, and providing excellent customer service.
Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas to a high standard of safety and cleanliness, you'll assist with diagnosing repair issues and escalating complex problems to senior staff. You'll attend training sessions and workshops to learn trade skills, safety practices, and company procedures and communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and colleagues, providing excellent customer care.
We'd like you to:
