Overview
In this role you will provide expert safeguarding advice and support across frontline teams. You will lead the Screening and Triage process to ensure consistent, high-quality initial safeguarding decisions. You will work within a wide multi-agency network and contribute to continuous improvement through the Safeguarding Adults Board. You will be supported in a collaborative, flexible environment that blends home and office work. Responsibilities
- Provide specialist advice and support to frontline workers across partnership organisations
- Deliver and oversee the Screening and Triage service for consistent safeguarding assessments and decisions
- Collaborate with a multi-agency network to achieve the best outcomes for adults at risk
- Contribute to the Safeguarding Adults Board and drive continuous improvement in safeguarding practices
- Work within an agile working environment with supervision and ongoing professional development
Key requirements
- Professional qualification in safeguarding with social work degree and SWE registration (essential)
- Experience in safeguarding cases within a multi-agency context
- Understanding of person-centred safeguarding approaches
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and policy
