GCT is a local housing and care charity dedicated to improving the lives of older people, and we’re looking for a reliable, caring Part-Time Minibus Driver to join our team. Please note, this post requires an Enhanced DBS check which is carried out at GCT’s expense.
About the Role
You will provide safe, friendly transportation for older people to and from events, appointments, and social activities. Your role will help reduce isolation, support wellbeing and encourage independence in later life.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive our minibus on scheduled routes
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting where needed
- Ensure passenger comfort and wellbeing during journeys
- Carry out basic vehicle checks
What We’re Looking For
- Valid UK driving licence (D1 entitlement essential)
- Experience driving larger vehicles (desirable but not essential)
- Friendly, patient, and caring attitude
