Gloucester Charities Trust (GCT) is an award-winning provider of care and support to older people in Gloucester through a range of housing, residential, day and community-based services. In addition, we have a farm, commercial properties, and a coffee shop.
We are recruiting a part-time Finance Assistant to complete our Finance Team to support us to deliver the most efficient and effective financial management in all our operational areas. Your key areas of responsibility will be:
- Maintaining our Accounts Payable function for all the Trust’s services
- Supporting with the preparation of the monthly payroll for all our staff
- Reconciling GCT’s credit cards
- Various financial administrative duties
The role is wide and varied and will provide excellent all-round experience for the successful applicant. The opportunity to progress to Finance Officer is available for the right applicant.
This is a part-time post, 21 hours per week over 3 days from 8.30am to 4.30pm with an hour unpaid for lunch. You will be based in our Head Office, reporting to the Finance Manager.
Ideally, you will need to have two years’ experience in a finance/accounting setting to apply for this post. An AAT at Level 2 is desirable but not essential.
