Responsibilities

  • Deploy telecommunications equipment at height.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
  • Keep current knowledge of equipment.
  • Take material responsibility for official equipment and tools, including PPE, vehicles, and measuring instruments.
  • Assist in installation activities on towers, roofs, and hard‑to‑reach places while observing all safety measures and using appropriate PPE and working‑at‑height techniques.

Requirements

  • Experience in a Telecoms environment.
  • Experience working at height, with a good understanding of rigging specifications and standards for major networks.
  • Experience as a 2nd man/person in telecoms antenna and feeder installation, including steel work, cabling, labeling, cable termination, rigging, feeder testing, DC and fibre cable running, and cable tray/trunking work.
  • Knowledge and experience with Ericsson equipment (preferable).
  • Electrical and commissioning experience an advantage, though not essential.
  • Competent in spoken and written English.
  • Quick and logical thinking.
  • Confidence in decision‑making.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Prepared to work and stay away from home nationally as required.

  • Advanced Climber certification.
  • Working at Heights certification.
  • Rescue from Towers, Masts & Structures certification.
