An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the leisure industry's leading businesses. Glossop Caravans has grown to be one of the largest new and used caravan and motorhome dealerships in the country. This position involves carrying out skilled maintenance work and repairs on static units based at our site in Glossop but on occasions may be required to work in locations across the country.
The ideal candidate will be well-organised, work well within a team, have excellent problem-solving skills, and take pride in providing an exceptional level of personal service and customer care. You would preferably have a minimum of one year's experience in this role but we would also like to speak to you if you have a trade background. Joiners, kitchen fitters, plumbers or electricians are of interest. A flexible and positive attitude to meeting time constraints and deadlines would be advantageous as well as a can-do attitude.
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Diagnosing problems with the caravan and making repairs as needed
- Repair or replace a range of internal or external items on static homes
- Complete checks and detailed examinations of the living area of the static home
- Ensure all works are completed to a high standard, in line with Quality, Health and Safety
- Using a wide range of hand and power tools, maintain equipment, tools, and work areas
- Providing plumbing, electrics, flooring and carpentry services in static homes and other miscellaneous works
- Experience preferred but full training is available
