Glossier is a people-first beauty company on a mission to give everyone a voice through beauty.
As an Experience Editor, you sit at the heart of our brand activations and store experience - the primary storyteller and point of contact guiding guests through every touchpoint, from the moment they step into the space to the moment they leave, product in hand and story to tell.
This holiday season, we're bringing our brand activation and store operation together into one seamless guest journey.
You'll be trained across both worlds: the immersive, performance-driven activation space and the day-to-day rhythm of the store floor - moving fluidly between them so that every guest, whether they're queuing for an experience or shopping for a product, gets a cohesive, memorable, and uniquely Glossier moment.
- Main Responsibilities
- Guest & Experience Leadership
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all guests, welcoming and engaging with them as they immerse themselves in the activation and store experience.

- Deliver outstanding improv and guest participation, modeling professionalism at all times, including within performance space per prescribed guidelines and training.
- Lead inclusive, interactive product engagement with demonstrations, applications, recommendations, and routine-building - with a hospitality mindset.
- Lead meaningful customer interactions during events such as master classes, promotional activations, brand activation moments, and other in-store initiatives.
- Prioritize the guest experience at all times, whether guest-facing or not, to ensure a world-class, memorable encounter with the brand.
- Build lasting guest relationships post-visit and secure marketing emails in order to sustain ongoing brand engagement.
- Operations & Teamwork
- Oversee queues, guest inquiries, and sales transactions, processing all POS transactions accurately.
- Resolve guest service issues by promptly partnering with leadership, exercising discretion and independent judgment.
- Maintain space cleanliness and manage inventory across both activation and store environments.
- Foster a team culture of camaraderie, collaboration, and joy
- Actively participate in visual projects and event set-up (new display activations, floor moves, product launches, brand events).
- Uphold uniform and presentation standards, and support an inclusive space free from discrimination, harassment, bullying, and intimidation.
- Act as a brand and product ambassador, fully versed in the Glossier portfolio and experience, supporting new hires and cross-training team members.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with brand activations, experiential events, or theatre required - a background in live, guest-facing performance is a strong plus.
- 2+ years in fast-paced retail or hospitality preferred.
- Friendly, welcoming, outgoing, and able to demonstrate guest-focused engagement at all times.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and adherence to scripted dialogue or guidelines.
