The Opportunity
We’re working with a well-established creative agency in Leeds that specialises in property, placemaking and brand-led marketing. They are looking to add a Creative Designer to their studio — and are open to speaking with designers at Junior, Midweight or Senior level depending on experience. This is a role for someone who enjoys the pace and variety of agency life. You’ll be working across multiple brands and campaigns, helping translate strategic ideas into strong visual concepts and creative outputs across print and digital channels. Importantly, this role suits a designer who can take ownership of a brief — someone curious enough to research, question and build context around a project rather than waiting for every detail to be prescribed. The team are looking for a creative thinker first and foremost — someone who enjoys developing ideas and visual direction, not just executing finished artwork.
The Role
- Develop creative responses to briefs across branding, marketing campaigns and promotional materials
- Work across multiple client accounts spanning property, placemaking and related sectors
- Translate strategic thinking into strong visual concepts and creative design work
- Produce creative for digital, social, presentations, marketing collateral and printed materials
- Take initiative when interpreting briefs — researching context, audiences, assets and requirements
- Collaborate with account teams and senior creatives to refine ideas and creative direction
- Contribute to internal creative discussions and idea generation
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment
- Ensure work is delivered to a high creative and technical standard
What They’re Looking For
- Experience working within a creative studio or agency environment
- Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to generate creative ideas
- Confidence interpreting and shaping briefs independently
- Excellent layout, typography and visual communication skills
- Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Ability to work across both print and digital outputs
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines
- A portfolio that demonstrates creative thinking and campaign work — not just production
Highly Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience working with property, placemaking or built environment brands
- Campaign or brand development experience
- Social and digital campaign design
- Motion or animation skills (After Effects or similar)
- Experience presenting ideas internally or to clients
What’s On Offer
- Salary depending on experience (£26k – £40k guide)
- Opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of brands and campaigns
- Collaborative and supportive studio culture
- Real creative input into projects and campaigns
- A growing agency environment with long-term client relationships
