Our client is a nationally renowned, longestablished Furniture Retailer with head offices based in Batley. Theircreative team inspire and educate their customers on the life enhancingproducts they design, manufacture and retail throughout the UK. They arecurrently going through a rebrand with a new look / feel / website and arelooking for a talented Creative Graphic Designer / Artworker to join the designteam.

You’ll already have a good knowledge of designprinciples and will be able to work to brand guidelines and specific briefs, ensuring that production deadlines are being met and supplying pre-pressartwork ready for print. Any knowledge of working on brochures, website banners,leaflets, press ads and digital assets would be a distinct advantage. To besuccessful you’ll need to be super organised, can manage your own workload andjump between projects as necessary!

Coreresponsibilities;
The main part of the role will be to work acrosslocal and national newspaper / magazine press advertising including creation ofadverts and maintaining the schedule and sending final artwork to thepublications set up to their specifications.

RequiredSkills:
Any knowledge of working across national pressadvertising and digital assets would be a distinct advantage
You’ll be an expert with Adobe Creative Suiteincluding InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. You’ll have a keen eye fordetail when it comes to type-setting, layout and high quality re-touchingensuring a quality finish to all creative output from the studio.
Also required:
- Experiencein a busy studio: ideally in a high-volume retail environment
- Creationof digital assets
- Creative/ innovative thinking – coming up with new designs
- Strongorganisational skills – to ensure nothing is missed, time is managedeffectively
- Meticulousattention to detail – always checking and checking again
- Teamplayer – enjoys pulling together
