Your role will include providing expert input on the renal wards at Gloucestershire Hospitals, leading outpatient clinics, supporting patients at haemodialysis centres, and managing those receiving peritoneal dialysis. We are proud to support career development, with opportunities to undertake the Supplementary Prescribing course, engage in renal research, and contribute to or lead on service development and quality improvement projects. • Manage your own caseload autonomously, using effective time management, flexibility and prioritisation to respond to changing clinical demands.
  • Contribute to wider dietetic services, including inpatient cover in other clinical areas when required. Appropriate training and support will be provided.
  • Provide line management and clinical supervision to renal dietitians, overseeing caseload allocation, service planning and high-quality care.
  • Conduct appraisals, provide mentorship and support staff performance and professional development.
  • Lead and contribute to audit, research, service evaluation and development within the renal dietetic service.
  • Supervise staff and support the training and development of dietetic students.
  • Occasional travel across sites may be required.
