Powell’s Primary School are looking for a caring, hardworking and dedicated Teaching Assistant who is committed to supporting teaching and learning. We are looking for someone who is able to provide effective support to the children, enabling them to achieve their best and become confident and independent learners.
The post is for 5 days a week (4 days may be considered) working in Lower Key Stage 2. The post is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2026 but it could be a permanent post for a candidate with the right level of experience.
The successful applicants must:
- have a passion for developing a love of learning in children
- have high expectations of pupil achievements and behaviour and be committed to raising standards under the direction of the class teacher
- be a positive individual with initiative, drive, integrity and a cheerful disposition
