Teaching Assistant – Pastoral Support

Bettridge is a Special school for pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties ranging in age from 2 to 19 years.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant for 31.25 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8.45am – 3.30pm, 39 weeks (term time plus inset days). To commence September 2025. Annual salary is approx. Β£21,887. This is a fixed term contract for one academic year in the first instance.

You will be a part of the Pastoral team and supported with your work.

The successful candidate will be able to work with flexibility and enthusiasm as part of a multi-professional team.

Preference will be given to candidates with recent working knowledge and experience of pastoral interventions in a special needs school setting.
