Join our thriving, fast-paced production department as a Purchasing Administrator, reporting to the Production Team Leader and working cross-functionally with management, design, warehouse, and installation teams. You\’ll be delivering top-tier service to high-demand clients.

The main focus of the job is to progress different projects through the different stages, from receipt/acknowledgement to delivery/install & then completing job tickets based on supplier invoices received from accounts, for approval.

You could be working on various projects within a day and at busy times, you could be jumping from one project to another at the drop of a hat. A head for numbers is fairly important, as well as being able to work under pressure.

What You\’ll Be Doing
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Raise client invoices and approve supplier invoices for payment
• Respond to client queries and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Provide accurate month-end reporting and financial tracking
• Contribute to general office duties and team success
• Manage a portfolio of client accounts from briefing to delivery and invoicing
• Prepare quotes and process customer orders
• Purchasing materials

Must Haves
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritise workload effectively
• Knowledge of procurement, dealing with multiple customers and suppliers
• Experience using Excel, Word, and SAGE
• Good financial understanding, especially of month-end processes
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Nice to Haves
• Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes
• Experience in a Point of Sale/Point of Purchase or production environment

Benefits
• Full-time hours: 09:00 – 17:30 (1-hour lunch break)
• Starting salary of £27,000 with potential increase to £28,000 after 6-month review
• Company sick pay (dependent on length of service)
• Company pension scheme
• 31 days holiday (pro-rata, including bank holidays)
• Free on-site parking
