Sales Operations Manager – EMEA

Description
Key Responsibilities
- Actively manage, by matrix the Sales Operations function
- Working with sales and marketing team members to ensure that processes are in place that allow the management of leads effectively across the sales and marketing funnel, ensuring the CRM systems are fully utilized and smooth handover of leads to sales but not the policing of such functions.
- Improving the methodology in Bid Content and Co-ordination where appropriate
- Improving the processes around Service contract management and renewals
- Developing and improving Sales reporting and analyzing
- Ensure effective business processes are in place for purchasing and customer orders to provide internal control
- Work with the business to ensure a smooth process flow from initial order through to order completion
- Provide support to the EMEA management team for business and commercial decision making
- Continually assess the sales person journey and suggest improvements.
- Understand market trends and products that can enhance the salesperson journey.
- Assess the customer contracting journey and work on improvements.
- Be the owner of OSC, CPQ, Inari and other sales systems in the region.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Ideally degree level qualification in Business or related subject
- Management qualification preferred
- Can demonstrate success in the re-engineering of systems and processes
- Significant invoicing process and contract revenue management
- Experience of business finance (although financial qualifications not essential)
- Proven record of sales achievement
- Prior experience in a sales operations, sales process design, or sales roles in a B2B organisation;
- Robust understanding of CRM systems and how it can enable and add value to the sales cycle;
- Relevant experience managing others and interfacing with board, marketing, sales and other senior stakeholders.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills; including Word, Powerpoint and a strong emphasis on Excel.
- Ability to manage and prioritise own and functional workload to meet business requirements and deadlines
- Have the acumen to adapt business processes to meet changing requirements while maintaining governance and control
- Highly self-motivated, responsible and have a keen attention to detail
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel and ERP systems
- Some travel will be involved in this role (UK and EMEA) so a driving license is required.
