The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

The group financial accountant is responsible for providing technical support to the group and regional finance teams, managing improvements to the consolidation tool (Tagetik) and supporting a Glory subsidiary in financial accounting and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, and update as necessary, accounting and other policies for Glory Global Solutions.
  • Act as a source of technical guidance to regional Finance Directors and their staff, within GGS Group, Acrelec and Flooid.
  • Support OneBanx in managing the transactional accounting, monthly reporting, developing and reviewing policies and processes and assisting with financial planning and investment decisions.
  • Produce statutory accounts for 4 UK holding and 1 UK trading companies and ensure auditor sign off within group deadlines.
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing reporting processes.
  • Assess group accounting for specific transactions and ensure compliance with IFRS.
  • Supporting improvements to the consolidation tool (Tagetik) including report building and project to integrate with PowerBI.
  • Collate financial data for other purposes e.g. insurance risk levels.
  • Assist where necessary in consolidated month end reporting and analysis for Glory Global Solutions.
  • Ad hoc projects.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a recognised accounting qualification and detailed knowledge of IFRS.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to interact at senior management and Board level.
  • Strong systems/process background; knowledge of Tagetik would be highly favoured.
  • English speaker; Japanese and French language skills would be a bonus but are not required.
