Join a global cloud engineering team supporting enterprise-scale digital transformation within a leading financial services organisation. This role is part of a strategic initiative to standardise and scale Azure infrastructure across multiple regions, working closely with teams in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. This is a long-term opportunity to contribute to high-impact cloud initiatives. You will collaborate with cloud architects and DevOps engineers across time zones, reporting to a regional manager while working closely with global counterparts.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform (primary) and Azure Bicep.
- Build modular, reusable infrastructure components to support internal development teams.
- Dedicate 80%+ of your time to hands-on coding of Azure infrastructure aligned with enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with DevOps and architecture teams to enforce cloud governance, security, and best practices.
- Integrate infrastructure code into CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment frameworks.
- Optimise infrastructure for scalability, cost-efficiency, and security compliance.
- Proven experience with Terraform for Azure resource provisioning.
- Working knowledge of Azure Bicep or a strong willingness to learn.
- Deep understanding of Azure services (e.g., App Services, VNets, Key Vault, Functions, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid grasp of networking, cloud security, and identity management (AAD).
- Strong communication skills in English.
