The European Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover) will drive the execution of marketing activities for current and next-generation Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) products across Europe. This role is responsible for executing existing launch plans end-to-end, including promotional activities, marketing collateral, sales tools, healthcare professional (HCP) and patient education materials.
The Marketing Manager will work closely with the European sales organisation and cross-functional teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved across the European clusters.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Product Strategy & Lifecycle Product Management
- Support end-to-end product management for Nevro Core SCS and HFX systems across the European region, including:
- HFX Legacy
- HFX iQ
- HFX Insights Platform
- Preparation activities for HFX iQ powered by AdaptivAI
- Working in partnership with Product Development and Core Sustaining teams, responsibilities include:
- Demand planning
- Change control processes
- Product lifecycle management and updates
- Downstream Product Management
- Execute existing product positioning and value messaging for HFX iQ and the HFX Insights Platform.
- Track and report on pre-defined launch metrics in collaboration with the sales team.
- Support sales training initiatives in partnership with the Learning & Development team.
- Support future product launches through the development of European sales tools and materials.
- Gather and integrate customer and field feedback to ensure products and messaging are field-ready.
- Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Programme
- Manage and coordinate the DTC agency relationship and collaborate closely with US counterparts.
- Oversee day-to-day campaign execution, including management of German HFX Coaches (dotted-line responsibility).
- Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reporting against agreed metrics.
- Collaborate with US HFX Coach Supervisors and German commercial leadership to support coaching activities.
- Work with external vendors to deliver DTC paid social media campaigns.
- Develop and manage content focused on German patient success stories, ensuring all materials receive appropriate internal approvals.
- Brand & Marketing Management
- Support the management of the Nevro, Senza and HFX brands across Europe.
- Develop and maintain marketing collateral and sales tools, including:
- Brochures
- Sales presentations
- Digital marketing assets
- Social media content (LinkedIn for HCP audiences and Meta platforms for patient audiences)
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements and local market regulations.
- Work closely with Creative, Regulatory and Compliance teams when developing new collateral and campaigns.
- Ensure all programmes are appropriately reviewed, approved and compliant before implementation.
- Events & Conferences
- Collaborate with the European Tradeshow Team to organise and execute successful conferences, congresses and trade exhibitions across the region.
- Budget & Reporting
- Track and monitor European marketing budgets.
- Prepare presentations, reports and business updates for stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in medical device, biotechnology, healthcare, or another highly regulated industry.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Previous experience within neuromodulation or spinal cord stimulation preferred.
- Proven downstream marketing experience.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers, clinical teams and commercial partners.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to proactively address issues.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills across all organisational levels, including senior leadership.
- Regular use of telephone and computer equipment.
- Ability to travel frequently to support field teams, customers and events.
- Carrying company equipment during travel, including laptops, chargers, brochures, programmers and demonstration kits.
- Work may take place in hospitals, operating rooms, clinics and surgical centres.
- International travel of up to 40% is required.
