Speciality - Community OT
Location - Walsall
Start date - ASAP
Contract Length - 29/06/2026 - 29/09/2026
Pay Rate - £28 per hour
Hours: 37 hours - Mon to Fri 8.45 to 17.15
Hybrid: 2 days office based & 3 days WFH
Essential requirements:
- Enhanced DBS (Adults & Children's Barred List)
- OT experienced in manual handling and particularly, optimal handed care.
- Assess needs and develop outcome-focused, person-centred OT plans
- Co-produce care and support plans where appropriate
- Provide advice on services, equipment, and support options
- Deliver and oversee reablement to maintain independence
- Prescribe and arrange equipment and adaptations
- Review and reassess support to ensure effectiveness
- Work collaboratively with professionals and agencies
- Support service users, families, and carers with guidance
- Maintain accurate case records and use IT systems
- Participate in duty, team development, and performance tasks
- Maintain HCPC registration and adhere to policies and standards
Requirements
- 1 year(s) post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work DBS or Police Check
- HCPC Registered
