Anatomical Pathology Technician Job Description

• Speciality -Mortuary Technician




• Location -Southampton




• Start date -01/09/26




• Contract length -3 months with Option to Extend




• Pay Rate -£26 per hour (£22.61 PAYE)




• Mon - Fri 08:00 - 16:00, including a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.




• Level 3 qualification in Anatomical Pathology Technology or an equivalent qualification (Required)




• Competent in handling high-risk (HR) cases




• Experienced in paediatric cases




• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team




• Band 6

Requirements

• 1 year(s) post graduate experience




• Valid Passport/Visa




• Fully compliant and cleared to work




• DBS or Police Check




• HCPC Registered
