We’re looking for a confident, articulate and detail-obsessed individual to drive winning bids and ensure our commercial contracts are watertight and strategically aligned.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- End-to-End Bid Ownership – Lead the full tender lifecycle: identifying opportunities, creating compelling submissions, collaborating with stakeholders, and securing wins.
- Strategic Input – Provide executive summaries and strategic recommendations on tender viability and commercial risk.
- Content Creation & Quality Control – Craft persuasive responses with a clear, consistent tone. Lead storyboarding, ensure compliance, and refine inputs from across the business.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with our senior leadership and frontline teams to create tailored, accurate bids and contracts.
- Industry Awareness – Stay ahead of NHS procurement trends and market shifts to ensure our bids are competitive, compliant, and innovative.
- Mentor and collaborate with our trainee bid writer, helping to shape their development and ensure consistency across submissions.
What We’re Looking For:
- A persuasive writer with proven success in bid management and commercial contract negotiation.
- Strong knowledge of NHS frameworks and procurement processes.
- Detail-focused with exceptional proofreading, legal understanding, and document control skills.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, from operations teams to boardroom execs.
- Cool under pressure, proactive, and naturally solutions-focused.
- Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and maintaining high standards throughout.
Experience & Background:
- 4+ years in a similar bid management role.
- Healthcare, recruitment, or public sector experience essential.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
