Echocardiographer Job Description
- Speciality -Echocardiographer
- Location -Milton Keynes
- Start date - ASAP
- Contract Length -Ongoing
- Pay rate - £50-55 per hour
- Candidates should have strong recent experience within a hospital-based cardiology/echo service and be confident working autonomously within their scope of practice.
The Role
- Delivery of inpatient and outpatient echocardiography, undertaking high-quality diagnostic studies and reporting findings in line with local and national standards.
- Supporting Cardiac MRI lists and the wider cardiac diagnostic pathway.
- Supporting pacemaker/device review clinics, subject to competency and local service requirements.
- Working collaboratively with Cardiologists, Cardiac Physiologists and the wider MDT to support efficient patient pathways and timely diagnostics.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and escalating significant or unexpected findings appropriately.
Requirements
- 2 years post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work
- DBS or Police Check
