Anatomical Pathology Technician Job Description
- Speciality -Mortuary Technician
- Location -Leicester
- Start date -beginning of October
- Contract Length -4 months/to the end of Jan 2027 initially (possibility of extension)
- Pay Rate -£17.39 or £22.61 PAYE rate via direct engagement
- Band 5 or 6
- May be required to work at other hospital sites
- Mon-Fri, 7.5hrs between 7.30am-5pm (dependent on clinical and service requirements)
- Minimum of APT Certification with RSPH, higher Diploma qualification desirable
- at least 12 months in NHS mortuary and minimum of 3 months post certification
- Coronial, forensic including paediatric post mortem experience. Busy mortuary environment. Ability to be flexible. Good physical health / no known MSK issues
Requirements
- 1 year(s) post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work
- DBS or Police Check
- HCPC Registered
