Occupational Therapy Job Description
- Speciality -Band 6 CYP OT
- Location -West London
- Start date -ASAP
- Contract Length -Ongoing
- Pay Rate - £28-33 per hour
- Part time
- This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive OT with experience working with children and young people with autism, complex learning needs or additional needs.
The Role
- Supporting children and young people aged 4-19 with autism and complex learning needs.
- Managing a varied clinical caseload across school and community settings.
- Delivering high-quality, evidence-based Occupational Therapy.
- Developing individual sensory strategies to support regulation and participation.
- Creating motor development plans tailored to individual needs.
- Developing functional and life-skills programmes to promote independence.
- Working closely with teaching staff and multidisciplinary teams.
- Providing clinical advice and outcome-focused reports for EHCPs and multidisciplinary reviews.
- Supporting staff and families to implement therapeutic strategies effectively.
- Monitoring progress and adapting interventions to achieve positive functional outcomes.
Requirements
- 1 year(s) post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work
- DBS or Police Check
- HCPC Registered
