Biomedical Scientist Job Description
- Speciality -Biochemistry
- Location -Kirkwall
- Start date -ASAP
- Contract Length -until 31/12/2026
- Pay Rate-£32.27 per hour Umbrella (£28.15 PAYE)
- Band 6
- Oncall rates to be agreed seperately
- An extensive knowledge of Biochemistry and 5years post registration work within NHS Laboratories
- Haematology and blood transfusion knowledge is desirable
- They would be working Monday-Friday 09:00-17:30 and would be expected to participate in the weekend and the blood sciences on-call rota, after training.
- Travel expenses payable up to £500 to get to and from
- Shared accommodation is provided by the board free of charge.
Requirements
- 1 year(s) post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work
- DBS or Police Check
- HCPC Registered
