Occupational Therapy Job Description
- Speciality -Band 6 Mental Health OT
- Location -Ilford
- Start date - ASAP
- Contract Length - Ongoing
- Pay Rate - £25-28 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake Occupational Therapy assessments with individuals experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping, or housing instability.
- Assess occupational performance, functional ability, ADLs, executive functioning, sensory needs, cognition, and environmental barriers.
- Identify the impact of mental illness, trauma, substance misuse, emotional and physical health conditions, and social exclusion on occupational participation.
- Develop person-centred intervention plans that promote recovery, independence, wellbeing, and community integration.
- Deliver trauma-informed, strengths-based and recovery-focused Occupational Therapy interventions.
- Car Driver Needed
Requirements
- 1 year(s) post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work
- DBS or Police Check
- HCPC Registered
