Dietetics Job Description
- Speciality - Dietitian
- Location -Abertawe
- Start date -ASAP
- Contract Length -Ongoing
- Pay Rate -£26 per hour
- Hours: 30 hours per week
- Working arrangements: Ideally one day per week face to face, with the remaining hours remote. Fully remote working will also be considered.
Caseload and responsibilities
- Assess and manage adults with gastrointestinal disorders, including IBS.
- Provide dietary advice for patients with disordered eating.
- Deliver oral nutritional support and weight management interventions.
- Develop tailored nutritional care plans and review patient progress.
- Provide Low FODMAP dietary advice where clinically appropriate.
Requirements
- 1 year(s) post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work
- DBS or Police Check
- HCPC Registered
- HCPC-registered Dietitian.
- Relevant experience managing adult outpatient caseloads.
- Experience supporting patients with GI disorders and IBS, including use of the Low FODMAP diet.
- Strong communication, assessment and organisational skills.
