Speech and Language Job Description
- Speciality -Speech & Language Therapist
- Location -Southall
- Start date -2nd October 2026
- Contract Length -Initially 1 month
- Pay Rates -£31-33 per hour
- Band 6/7 - depending on experience
- Hours: 4 days per week
- Setting: Critical Care / Acute
- We are looking for an experienced Speech & Language Therapist to join the team in Central London on a locum basis.
- The successful SLT will provide cover across critical care and complex caseloads, working as part of the wider multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- 1 year(s) post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work
- DBS or Police Check
- HCPC Registered
- HCPC-registered Speech & Language Therapist
- Strong acute hospital experience
- Critical care experience
- Confident managing complex caseloads independently
- Dysphagia competent
- Experience assessing and managing complex swallowing and communication needs
- Confident working within an acute MDT
