Physiotherapy Job Description

• Speciality -Band 6 MSK/Ortho




• Location -Slough




• Start date - ASAP




• Contract length -4 month




• Pay rate - £40 per hour




• 24 hours per week over 3-4 days and would include at least one evening until 8pm.




• Experienced out patient MSK physiotherapist required.




• Essential - experience with MSK, post operative orthopaedic caseload.




• Desirable - Pilates, Acupuncture.




• The hours would be spread over 3-4 days (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday/Friday) and would include at least one evening until 8pm.




• We are a busy physiotherapy department looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to work in our outpatient department.




• This role would be ideal for someone who has established clinical skills and knowledge in MSK and post-operative rehabilitation.




• You need to have good time management skills and be able to manage a clinical caseload effectively and independently.




• Acupuncture or dry needling competence would be advantageous but not essential.




• We are a dynamic and forward thinking hospital running a MAKO robotic orthopaedic centre for joint replacement surgery.




• The Physiotherapy Department offers inpatient services to orthopaedic, general surgical, general medical and oncology patients.




• In our Outpatient Department we see a variety of musculoskeletal patients including orthopaedic patients both pre and post operatively, self -pay patients, Consultant and GP referrals.

Requirements

• 1year(s) post graduate experience




• Valid Passport/Visa




• Fully compliant and cleared to work




• DBS or Police Check




• HCPC Registered
